Winter Wellness Bulletin Board

I made three snowmen and the mittens out of construction paper. After gluing the snowmen to the blue background, I used a felt tip pen to make branch arms. The sign posts in the snow are the wellness messages. These were first printed in red, then I drew a sign around each one and then cut them out. The test for the signs is below, but you could put any messages you wish on these.

The signs the snowmen are holding are made in the same way. I made a quick green border around each sign so they would stand out from the snowmen. I used a felt tip maker. The snowmen's signs refer to our school wellness fair, coming up in March.

The letters for the title of te board were printed in size 150 font, and I then outlined and cut a snowball around each one.

Here's what my small signs say:

Wash your hands several times a day with soap and water, and even more frequently if you are around anyone with a cold.

Keep your hands away from your eyes, nose, and mouth.

Cover your mouth and nose with a disposable tissue when you sneeze or cough. Then, wash your hands.

Protect and strengthen your immune system: Get enough rest, eat a variety of foods  including lots of fruits and vegetables and exercise regularly.

Don't spread the virus! Avoid coming to school with a fever or bad cough. Remember that there is no vaccine to prevent colds, and antibiotics have no effect on viruses.
